As the Creator of Show Your Worth Circles, Dona Jose designed a transformative program focused on personal and professional growth through peer-led support and intentional community building. The Circles provide a safe, collaborative space where participants engage in meaningful conversations, share experiences, and develop strategies to enhance their confidence, leadership, and career progression. Dona’s vision for Show Your Worth Circles is to empower individuals to unlock their full potential by fostering connection, accountability, and continuous learning in a supportive environment.

AnitaB.org

AnitaB.org is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing women and underrepresented communities in technology. Founded in 1997, the organization is named after Anita Borg, a computer scientist who advocated for greater gender diversity in the tech industry.

Since relocating to Dallas and transitioning to remote work, Dona Jose noticed a gap in opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals in the tech industry. This inspired her to take the initiative to establish a local chapter of AnitaB.org in Dallas. She proudly served as the founding community leader for the Dallas chapter, organizing a diverse range of events and activities to foster a thriving tech community.

Currently, Dona is part of the Dallas Community Leadership team and serves as a Regional Leader and Global Volunteer Leader, supporting various local communities across North America.

Google Women Techmakers Ambassador

Google Women Techmakers Ambassadors are individuals who are passionate about supporting and advocating for women and underrepresented groups in the tech field. They play a pivotal role in building and strengthening local tech communities by organizing events, workshops, and initiatives that promote gender diversity and inclusion. These ambassadors are selected based on their commitment to the cause and their ability to drive change in their respective regions or communities.

As a Google Women Techmakers Ambassador, Dona Jose plays a key role in promoting initiatives that support and elevate women in technology. She actively organizes and facilitates events, workshops, and mentorship programs designed to inspire and equip aspiring tech professionals with the skills and confidence they need to succeed. Through her ambassador role, Dona builds strong, inclusive networks that foster collaboration, continuous learning, and leadership development within the tech community.
